Enjoy the amazing ride to Olympia and experience the amazing history of Ancient Olympia.
Traveling to Olympia along the way admire the endless blue of the Saronic Gulf, with the islands of Salamina and Aegina.
Leave Athens early morning driving southwest until you reach the Corinth Canal that connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea (short stop). Drive on and visit the ancient Olympia.
(The travel time from Athens to Olympia is approximately 4 hours including a short stop in Corinth canal)
Arrival in Olympia, meeting with our licensed tour guide.
Tour of Ancient Olympia for at least two to three hours, visit to the archaeological museum and the ancient site. (The amazing history of Ancient Olympia makes this particular tour take longer than any other)
After the tour, free time for lunch in one of the traditional taverns of modern Olympia, as well time for walking around the beautiful little town and shopping for those who wish. In the afternoon we will take the road back to Athens, where we expect to arrive in the evening around 8 o’clock.
